Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Clinicians, practice teams and families come to this website on many devices and with many ways of reading, hearing and navigating. We build it so everyone can use it, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This supports our obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

This statement covers the public website. The clinical platform is built to the same standard.

How we build for accessibility

• Keyboard. Pages and controls are built for keyboard use, with a visible focus indicator.
• Screen readers. Pages use clear headings, landmarks and labels, and images carry text alternatives.
• Contrast and themes. Text and controls are designed to WCAG contrast levels in light and dark mode.
• Zoom and reflow. Pages reflow for small screens and for zoom up to 400%.
• Plain language. We write in short, plain sentences.
• Motion. We respect your device's reduced-motion setting.

We check new components against WCAG 2.2 AA with automated tests and manual review before they go live.

Conformance status

The website partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means some content may not yet fully meet the standard. We have not yet completed an independent, site-wide audit.

• if you are comfortable, the browser or assistive technology you use.

Please do not send patient or health information.

We will reply within 5 business days. While we fix the problem, we will help you get the information or finish the task another way, such as by email.
